Ingredients
  

  • cooking spray
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 2 16 oz cans of pork and beans use 3 cans of pork and beans if you do not want kidney beans
  • 1 16 oz can of kidney beans drained
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Equipment

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 crock pot optional
  • 1 casserole dish if crock pot is not used

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook and stir ground beaf and onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is translucent, 10 to 15 minites.
  3. Mix pork and beans, kidney beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and salt in a large bowl. Stir hamburger mixture into bean mixture. Pour hamburger-bean mixture into prepared casserole dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, about 45 minutes, or use a crock pot.
